This policy describes how Whale Tales Archery collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our text message (SMS) notifications for bow and arrow repair services.

When you bring your bow or arrows in for service, we collect your name and phone number to manage your repair and, if you consent, to send you text updates about its status.

How We Use Your Information

Your phone number is used solely to send you service-related text messages, including notification when your bow or arrow repair is ready for pickup. We do not use this information for any other purpose without your separate consent.

Consent

We only send text messages to customers who have verbally agreed to receive them at the time they drop off their item for service. Staff record this consent in our internal system, and no messages are sent to a customer's number unless that consent is on file.

Message Frequency & Rates

Message frequency depends on your service activity — typically one message per repair, when your item is ready for pickup. Message and data rates may apply.

Opt-Out

You may reply STOP at any time to stop receiving text messages from us, or reply HELP for assistance. You may also notify our staff directly, in person or by phone, to be removed from text notifications.

Information Sharing

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Data Retention & Security

We retain your contact information only as long as necessary to service your repair and maintain your customer record, and we do not sell or rent your information to any third party.
