The RX-9 is Hoyt's carbon bow for last seaon. The revised riser geometry and updated limb pockets make it stiffer and more efficient than the RX-8 it replaces, and the carbon frame does what carbon does best: it kills vibration before it ever reaches your hand and stays warm to the touch on a cold November sit. At 30.5" axle-to-axle and 4 pounds on the nose, it's short enough to handle in a tight ground blind and forgiving enough to stretch out to the far side of a canyon. The HBX Gen 4 cam gives you a genuine hard wall (or X hard wall, your preference), 75/80/85% let-off, and the improved 4-track tuning system that makes getting a clean bullet hole a matter of minutes, not weeks.

Blackout riser with Subalpine limbs is about as good as it gets for a western hunter who doesn't want a loud bow in open country.
